About Ryan

Kendra, Maeve and myself in Ann Arbor, MI

Hi there and welcome. Thank you for being here.

My name is Ryan McMullen and I live and work in St. Louis, MO with my wife Kendra, daughter Maeve and our newest son Murphy. At the time of me writing this, Murphy is so young that we don’t have one picture of all four of us together.
The idea for me even having this blog is to share with you our business and show how I may be able to help you.

Currently, I run a successful online network marketing business with Kendra where we utilize technology; more specifically social media, pay-per-click and blogging. It would be great if I could tell you that I have magic beans that will instantaneously transform your life. Truth is, other than keeping an open mind, trying different techniques and a strong work ethic, there is nothing magical about what I do.

What I do have to offer is a proven system about which I am very passionate. When educated with some of the lesser known secrets of leverage and marketing, making money becomes so much easier.

I started my business because we wanted not only financial freedom, but more importantly to us, time freedom. It’s pretty difficult to see the world when your company is only going to give you two weeks a year to do it. Having Maeve really hammered home the point. We have vowed to never miss a game, recital, field trip and even practice.

Having said that, I’ll make a somewhat educated guess that there is something you want that you don’t have. Do any of these sound familiar:

• You are new to the network marketing/home-based business industry and don’t know where to begin.

• Your current career is not offering you the success you know you deserve.

• You have always been an entrepreneur at heart and have decided that now is the time to pursue your dream so you can enjoy more freedom in your life.

• You are not sure why, but for some reason this has sparked an interest in you and you need find out more.

If you’re still interested, I’m going to give you some more background information on myself and then share my business.

I think we can all agree that marketing online, for the most part, is very cold. A pretty corporate website and getting some nameless emails don’t really build trusting and meaningful relationships especially when it comes to getting involved in business opportunities. Its very cliché, but I’ll say it anyway, “People do business with those whom we like and trust.”

So, the purpose of this site is for you to get a good understanding who I am and what I have to offer YOU! If you think I’m a bum, I’ll respectfully disagree, but we will still part as friends. But if we connect and you want to partner with me to start down your path to success, then we’ll have a great ride.

There is a good amount of content, but I know it will benefit us both if you take the time to read through the entire page.

Let’s get started

Professionally, I have always worked for “the Man” in a number of capacities. The one characteristic my prior jobs have had is that they were all entrepreneurial. I have built my own books of business and earned my own accounts. Unfortunately, my hard work and self-motivation paid off most handsomely for the company for whom I was working. The piece of the puzzle that was missing is that I never truly had ownership.

My wife Kendra and I have been happily married for five years and live in the City of St. Louis with our daughter Maeve.

We decided to start our business because we were not living the lives we had envisioned for ourselves. We were spending more time with our co-workers than the ones we really love and want to be around. After indifferently working on the business with limited success, our turning point came with the birth of Maeve. It broke our hearts to have to drop her off at the babysitter every morning. I’m happy to say we no longer have that struggle.

I wish I could say we just flipped a switch and were instantly successful, but that’s not usually how it works. We tried just about every traditional method of network marketing, read anything we could get our hands on and still didn’t see much progress. Our business really changed when we started learning about online marketing. The power of the internet and all of its different tools is absolutely amazing! The more we learned, the more excited we got about it.

The silver lining of all of my growing pains is that it makes me a better mentor and leader. I could teach a class about mistakes you make building your business, but I prefer to share with you the most efficient way to grow your business and yourself so that you are successful.

TESTIMONIALS

If you are serious about making money on the internet and willing to put in the effort, I can teach you everything I know.

The most important fact we must agree upon is this: It is NOT going to be easy. In fact, it will probably be the hardest thing you’ve ever done. However, I GUARANTEE it will be the most rewarding.

The only factor that separates you from all of the successful internet millionaires out there is that they have the right Mindset. Anyone who has been successful in the business absolutely refuses to fail no matter what the circumstance. We all go through ups and downs. The question you have to ask yourself is, “Do I have the determination, no matter the cost or sacrifice, to be successful”?

Even if you are not sure of the last question, it’s okay because we can develop that mindset. A huge part of being tremendously successful is growing as a person. Your business is going to grow directly proportional to your personal growth.

I know what you’re thinking, “Great, Ryan has given me a bunch of information to make me feel warm and fuzzy about what I am capable of, but why is he any different than the rest of the leaders out there? I’m still going to have to call all of my friends and family, buy leads and do all of that other nonsense that doesn’t work.”

Unlike traditional sales, we don’t:

• Make lists of friends and family to call

• Stock our garages full of products

• Pop-in to local businesses

• Cold call strangers

Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? I’ve done all of those things and more. Guess what? It doesn’t work.

What do I do?

I only work with those people who have searched for me FIRST. I can show you how to do it.

As this is only a website, we are limited in the amount of connection we can achieve, but I would still like you to know more about me as a person. The more you know about me will help you understand that doing business with me will help you achieve success.

Don’t you already feel like you kinda know me…or at least have a feel for the kind of person I am? What I‘ve found is that this online relationship-building strategy helps make it easier for people to contact me. I know it will work for you as well as it does for me.

Born and Raised…

Other than college, I have lived in St. Louis, MO my entire life. I grew up just outside of the city in a middle-class family with two younger brothers. My Mom is a high-school principal and my Dad has worked in purchasing for as long as I can remember. Kendra grew up with 10 kids in her family and my Mom has 10 brothers and sisters. Needless to say, family gatherings have quite a few guests.

Like a lot of us in our younger days, I worked quite a bit in restaurants. I’ve been a busboy, cook and bartender. Kendra and I met at work where she was a server and I tended bar. One night after work, I asked her if she wanted to go with me to the Cardinals game the next day, she accepted, we had a grand time and here we are today. Without Kendra, none of this would possible.

Fast forward a couple of years and our biggest inspiration, Maeve, came along. I never realized how much having a child changes your life. Now, the “Little Princess” runs the house. Don’t get me wrong; I never had delusions that I ran the place, but at least it was competitive.

What Do We Like To Do?

We are big outdoors people. Even just taking a walk at the park across the street is a lot of fun. When it gets warm, we’ve got about five months to enjoy our pool. It gets used just about everyday and I’m ashamed to admit is sometimes used in lieu of a bath or shower. What? Chlorine gets you clean.

We take in quite a few sporting events. The Cardinals are probably the most popular, but the Blues and Rams are still very entertaining. St. Louis is pretty underrated for it’s parks and museums. Our History and Art Museums are world-class and, of course, we have The Arch.

When It All Changed…

I had a few epiphanies along the way that I am not cut out for the corporate world, a 9-5 job or anything else that I don’t 100% control. Life is too short to spend more time at work with strangers than with friends and family. Maeve being born was a huge part of our original motivation.

In theory, I always knew that MLM could work, but didn’t convince myself that I could do it until I read “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. That book literally changed my life. I stopped thinking about how great it would be to have money and freedom and actually went out and started doing it.

The traditional methods of calling friends and family didn’t work for me. Not only did it not work, but I hated it. I did a tremendous amount of research online and I found an invaluable system to which I could devote my entire business.

Like most folks, I had to start doing it at night after I was done with my “real” job. So, I spent my nights on the computer while Maeve was in bed and started busting my hump. It was/is so rewarding and is really a lot of fun. You meet great and smart people who all have the same goals.

Never in my life have I looked forward to going to work. Now, I have to make a conscious effort to take the computer out of my hands. It’s really very addictive. I suppose there are a lot worse things to be addicted to than running your own, enjoyable business from your couch.

The End…

So, that’s a brief snapshot of me and who I am. Hopefully, you’ll get a better understanding by browsing through my blog and looking at some of my pictures. Not surprisingly, my favorites of our little girl. She has really turned me soft and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

If you’re serious about making this work for you, let’s have a conversation. It’s way more fulfilling to watch someone succeed than a few bucks in your pocket. Well, the bucks don’t hurt and are necessary, but you’ll find that the online marketing industry is like no other in that it’s a tight community who really care about one another.

Your partner in success,
Ryan
