I have a partner new to MLM and is very timid about getting out there and marketing herself because she thinks she doesn’t have anything to offer. I know we’ve all gone through this at the beginning of our careers. My answer to her was, “BS.”
I don’t mean this to sound all warm and fuzzy, but everyone has something to offer. So, we took a look at what she was working on and she was currently reading “How To Win Friends and Influence People”. Boom! Right there! I’ve read it twice, have listened to it on audio and she still taught me some things I didn’t know.
It seems like there is this expectation that every article or forum post you write has to be some earth-shattering, Pulitzer Prize winning piece. Obviously, it has to offer value to the reader, but you’d be surprised what affect some little blurb or sentence may have on people.
As you’re learning new ideas and strategies, don’t be afraid to get out there and share them. Just by having them fresh in your mind, you’ve got a lot to offer. That goes for everybody.
