Personal Mentoring
Has there ever been a top leader who has NOT had a mentor? I don’t just mean our industry, but business and life in general. Warren Buffet has Ben Graham, Bill Gates has Warren Buffet; everyone in any walk of life who is wildly successful has had, and in most cases, continues to have a mentor. We all need someone who has walked the path before us to GUIDE us on a daily or weekly basis.
These are the relationships we forge that make the BIGGEST difference in our businesses and lives.
I started running my business online for awhile with limited success because I had no direction or guidance. Once I took on a mentor, WOW! I went from zero to a hundred ridiculously fast. The problem that I had and most of us have is that WE DON’T KNOW WHAT WE DON’T KNOW.
It’s great to watch videos and read the training, but they can only get you so far. When you get stuck on even something basic, wouldn’t it be great to pick up the phone or shoot a quick email to get an answer?
True story: I spent roughly an hour and a half trying to center an image on my blog post with absolutely no luck. In hindsight, I should have asked for help sooner, but I was too proud and technology wasn’t going to beat me. I sent an email to my mentor and within minutes had an embarrassingly simple answer.
What was I doing? Do you know how much I could have accomplished in an hour and a half? Well, that was the last time I did that.
The point is, without a mentor, I would still be pulling my hair out and wasting valuable time.
I’ve spent thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours learning from the top 1% in our industry and am here to help you the way they helped me.
